Georgia (Georgian საქართველო [sɑk ʰ ɑrt ʰ vɛlɔ], Sakartvelo ) - a country located in Western Asia and the Middle East , as well as , according to some sources , partially in Eastern Europe, in the western part of Transcaucasia eastern coast of the Black Sea. Georgia borders with Armenia and Turkey to the south, Azerbaijan to the south- east and Russia to the east and north. Abkhazia and South Ossetia are not controlled by the Georgian government and regarded them , the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and the European Commission as part of the Russian-occupied Georgia. Coat of arms of Georgia is the national symbol of Georgia. The modern coat of arms adopted on 1 October 2004.
